Manilla on 15m

Aki   popped up on 15m during an interesting eastwards opening. There was a biblical pile up and I tried for an hour to get through.

Aki has a very comprehensive QRZ page so I won 't repeat the content here.

I gave up and came back after bagging ey7ad - and Aki announced he was about to switch off as conditions were fading - well they weren't as far as Essex was concerned and I pleaded for him to stay. The  path that was fading was the one for south Europe.

So I managed to stop Aki from going and got the contact after all. But sadly, after I recorded a thoroughly delightful QSO I then  promptly deleted it by mistake. Arse.

Same time tomorrow, Aki-san?
